Very bright penthouse studio with a large terrace on the side of the Plaza Mayor in Madrid. A treat!

Location and access

Studio that was completely renovated and furnished in May 2012. It is located on the side of the Plaza Mayor, in the heart of Old Madrid. It is ideally located for visiting the city’s main museums: the Prado, Thyssen, Caixa Forum and Reina Sofia, as well as to experience the charm of central Madrid. The La Latina district, Puerta del Sol and Plaza Mayor are some of the places you can visit on foot. It also takes advantage of the Puerta del Sol’s excellent transport network and has easy access by foot to the Opera underground station, as well as numerous bus stops.

Description of the apartment

This is an outward-facing penthouse with large windows and a generously-sized furnished terrace with great views of Madrid. The studio consists of a room with three different areas:
Spacious bedroom with a double bed, wardrobe and spacious drawers.
Seating area with sofa bed, 26" TV and DVD
Kitchen with all necessary appliances. A high table separates the kitchen and seating area into two different areas.
The bathroom has a shower.
The apartment has plenty of bedding, towels to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable.

El apartamento es muy acogedor y, aunque pequeño, la terraza da mucho juego y la sensación de que es más grande. Tiene un buen supermercado justo al lado del edificio y mucha oferta de restaurantes y bares, incluido el Mercado de San Miguel, visita obligada.

two coffee machines, and hand blender were out of order. A slightly better sofa/couch would help a lot. Otherwise, the apartment is great, thanks

Este piso esta un poco ruidoso porque es en la calle Mayor. Bonita terraza. Hace falta una aspiradora y una cacerola de gran tamano.

La situacion es perfecta pero hay uns cosas que tendrias que solucionar: se anuncia wifi y no habia, nos pusieron un 4g e iba extremadamente lento. Se necesitan cojines grandes para apoyar la cabeza si por ejemplo estas mirando la tele desde la cama, los echamos mucho en falta. No hay cucharillas de postre o cafe. La terraza no estaba muy limpia y los muebles en ella son muy cutres, no cuesta mucho poner un conjunto de exterior bonito. El toldo está en malas condiciones. El apartamento ppdria haber estado mas limpio. Habia manchas de pasta de dientes en la pared, se entiende porque al lavarte los dientes estas a un palmo de ella pero podrias haber limpiado

Hemos echado de menos un exprimidor y in hervidor de agua el resto muy bien.

El apartamento estaba muy bien! Lo único negativo fue que el Internet no funcionaba bien y era muy, muy lento.

Respond a la pregunta 10 pensando en el piso de Mayor 58. En general vuestros pisos están bien iluminados y equipados. Sin embargo el de Mayor está iluminado exclusivamente por lámparas con bombillas blancas de larga duración de mayor voltaje que el necesario. El resultado es que el piso por la noche parece la habitación de un hospital alumbrada por fluorecentes. El piso es bonito y, aunque muy pequeño, no es incómodo y la terraza le da un plus importante. Con un par de lámparitas o con bombillas menos 'agresivas' resultaría más acogedor. Durante mi estancia quité el 75% de las bombillas que hay instaladas. A nivel de equipamiento, necesita un exprimidor de naranjas, una tostadora. y un microondas. Muchas gracias por todo, Carlos
