Lovely attic located in a quiet pedestrian street, 50 metres away from Puerta del Sol and 100 metres away from Plaza Mayor, right in Madrid´s city centre.The main sights and attractions, theatres, museums, cinemas and shopping centres are within walking distance, furthermore it is extremely well networked by the transport facilities servicing Puerta del Sol.

Overall description

The apartment was fully renovated, combining the most modern details with a total respect for the original facade, completely redeveloped in 2006. It has a bedroom with a double bed, a living room with a double sofa bed, kitchen and bathroom. The kitchen is fully equipped with plenty of towels and kitchenware, a two-door fridge, a microwave oven and glass hob. The apartment is equipped with heating and air conditioning, a TV set and a DVD player, so that your stay will be a pleasant and comfortable one. There is a public car park available 40 metres away.

Excellent location in the historical centrum of Madrid. Good enough to stay a week. A bit noisy overnight when holidays.

Great location, clean and comfortable apartment. The person who met us (Liliana, I think) was excellent. She provided the expected information, and waited as the airport bus was slower than we expected, making us late.

very nice place! our biggest complaints are that the shower drained slowly and we really did not like that our 'double bed' was actually two beds pushed together. Otherwise, we loved the location and thought Roxana and Thania were lovely!

Hola, el apartamento estaba limpio, solo la cocina (frontes de armarios) podria estar mas limpia. En la cocina faltaban trapos/paños de cocina para secar los platos lavados. Una lampara no funcionaba o la bombilla estaba rota. Seria buena idea tener una o dos bombillas de reserva en el apartamento. La decoracion es question de gusto, pero lo que no pega son quadros chinos en ese encantador apartamento (Sol I). En general el apartamento es estupendo y iremos seguro otra vez ahi. Muchas gracias tambien por ser tan amables de poder dejar las maletas hast la hora de salida del avion. Eso podria ser un problema, si hay que salir a las 11 y el avion sale por la tarde. Solo comentarle que el piso era un poco oscuro durante la noche, aumentar la potencia eléctrica de los focos economizadores ayudaría a mejorar la claridad. Por otro lado, la placa eléctrica era un poco grasosa y faltaba un paño de cocina para secar. Sin embargo, globalmente, tuve una buena estancia.

Gotea el aire acondicionado de la sala. Faltaban repasadores en la cocina. Es pobre la iluminacion electrica.

We could not easily use the small terrace because the terrace was used for storage - extra chairs and, mop bucket crowded the terrace. Also the clothesline should be repaired because when cloths are hung to dry the clothesline sags and sags - it's only good for one item. Other than what has been mentioned, the rental was excellent for the price & location.

Faltlaban algunas cosas tan importantes como papel WC, jabón para lavar la vajilla, algún paño de cocina
